The best way I can think to articulate what I want this blog to help me stay accountable for is to make a list. So here goes.
- Focus on improving my improv
- It's been a rough level 4 of improv and I feel like I've hit a plateau and have gotten lazy. I want to read at least 2 improv articles/blogs/tips/pages a day and watch an improv video/podcast a day as well. I think refocusing on why I started--to get out of my comfort zone and react on my feet will also help me focus on where I'd like to be with improv right now, instead of focusing on where I'm not.
- Writing
- The other reason I got into improv was for comedy writing, which I have 0 experience and have done 0 of since starting. There are no rules for writing, you just have to write. I'll begin a weekly comedy writing session that will be posted here for accountability.
- Managing my finances
- This is something I've never been good at, and need to get a handle on asap. I'm going to keep a budget through mint or another app and stick to it. I
- Keeping daily lists
- Each day I'll wake up and post on here what I want to accomplish that day.
